Ogden Nash is a famous American poet who was very popular between the 1930s and 70s. His most famous poem is Reflections on Icebreakers which simply reads “Candy is Dandy, But Liqueur is Quicker“. Nash’s poems are almost always focused on humor and making unique comical observations about things. His quirky style and time period is reflected in the hand drawn type, illustrations, and type choices throughout the book series.
